Kevin
Patrick
“Knowing what to expect and understanding the potential consequences are crucial to maintaining a client’s trust and moving forward as a team.”
Born in Michigan, raised in California, and educated in New Jersey, in 2008 Kevin Patrick planted roots in Iowa. Kevin came to the state as a field organizer during the 2008 general election. “I quickly learned that the best form of communication is listening and allowing people to be given the chance to feel heard.”
In his litigation practice, Kevin combines the interpersonal skills learned as a field organizer during the 2008 general election and the investigative and trial practice skills learned as a former Assistant Polk County Attorney. “When you’re in an emotionally charged or high-stress environment, you have to develop trust and mutual respect early to be an effective litigator and advocate,” he says.
Being proactive is a key element Kevin brings to clients and to his practice. He wants clients to know exactly what to expect. “I want my clients to feel fully informed—to understand the consequences of any potential outcome so they can make a reasoned, thoughtful decision,” he says. “My goal is to help my clients grow a positive brand and business, even during the litigation process.”
