Matthew A.
McGuire

“It is critical to see things from the client‘s perspective.”

A successful litigant tells a compelling story. Matt McGuire understands this and strives to ensure his clients tell stories that resonate.

Matt's litigation practice includes a mix of commercial, business, and intellectual property matters. He enjoys working with diverse businesses who have varying needs and expectations. "Creative legal solutions require a lawyer to fully understand the client's point of view," he says.

A graduate of Drake’s journalism school, Matt returned to Iowa for a judicial clerkship that provided valuable perspective on the litigation experience. “As a judicial clerk, you observe first-hand how excellent lawyers handle challenging cases," he says. Matt now applies that perspective to his own advocacy.
