Banks Selected for National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program

Nyemaster attorney Jaden Banks has been selected to participate in the 2025 class of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program. The NCBJ NextGen Program annually identifies and supports up to 40 rising bankruptcy practitioners from across the country, providing exclusive educational and networking opportunities at the NCBJ’s annual conference. Participation in this prestigious program is by nomination and selection only. He will join the 2025 NextGen class at the NCBJ conference this September in Chicago.
The program is in its 16th year and recognizes restructuring professionals who:
- Devote at least 50% of their practice to bankruptcy and restructuring,
- Demonstrate exceptional legal ability and commitment to the practice,
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics, civility, and professionalism, and
- Contribute meaningfully to the education and advancement of the bankruptcy bar and the public interest.
Banks joined Nyemaster in fall 2024 after two years as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He also served as a clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals. His bankruptcy practice focuses on helping clients restructure and reorganize their businesses. In his creditor rights practice, he advocates for lenders and creditors to protect their interests.
Banks is only the fifth attorney from Iowa selected to participate in the NextGen program.
