Dayton Appointed to 2018-2019 Business Law Section Council

Michael Dayton has been appointed to serve on the 2018-2019 Business Law Section Council of the Iowa State Bar Association.
  
In May, the Council published the 2018 edition of the ISBA Business Law Manual, which among other things covers amendments to the Iowa Business Corporations Act, provides an overview of securities laws, and serves as a resource for organization under the Iowa Limited Liability Company Act. In general, the Council monitors developments relating to business entities, communicates with Association members regarding legislation and regulations, conducts CLE programs, and otherwise facilitates discussion and exchanges of ideas among Iowa lawyers interested in business, banking, and corporate law matters.

An attorney in Nyemaster’s Business, Finance & Real Estate practice, this will be Michael’s fifth consecutive term on the Council.
