Epperly and Miller Participate in DMDC Effort

May 22, 2018

In what has become the nation’s second-largest chamber-group fly-in, nearly 200 members of The Greater Des Moines Partnership travel to Washington D.C. in May to meet with the Iowa Congressional delegation and representatives of the Executive Branch. The Partnership, comprised of business, civic and regional community leaders, presents the group’s “Federal Policy Agenda.”

One of the focal points of this year’s discussions was advocacy for additional resources to expand the Des Moines International Airport. The effort would further enhance central Iowa’s competitive position on the national and global stage.

Nyemaster Goode continues to support The Partnership’s federal advocacy efforts through sponsorship and participation. This year Nyemaster Government Affairs attorneys Brad Epperly and Dustin Miller, who represent The Partnership at the Iowa Legislature, traveled with The Partnership’s group on behalf of the firm.
