Law Elected President of Iowa State Bar Association

Nyemaster Goode attorney Kathleen K. Law, a member of the firm’s Business, Finance, and Real Estate practice, has been elected the 2025-2026 President of the Iowa State Bar Association. Law was installed at the ISBA Annual Meeting on June 25, 2025.

 

The Iowa State Bar Association is the oldest voluntary state bar association in the United States and represents approximately 6,500 lawyers and judges licensed to practice law in the state of Iowa. The ISBA facilitates professional growth and collegiality among Iowa attorneys. Its mission is to support members and their service to clients, community, and the judicial system.

 

Law is a prominent wind and solar energy development attorney and maintains a practice representing developers of alternative energy projects, as well as a significant traditional commercial real estate development practice. She is a past member of the ISBA’s Board of Governors and has past service with the ISBA’s Business Law Council, Real Estate Section Council, and Title Standards Committee.  Law also has served as co-chair of the ISBA Annual Meeting Committee and is a past chair of the ISBA’s Well-being and Legal Forms committees. She has also served on the State Judicial Nominating Commission and is a past member of the Drake Law School Board of Counselors. She also serves as an adjunct professor teaching Real Estate Transactions at Drake University Law School.
