Nyemaster Shareholder Robert Andeweg Receives Lead DSM's A. Arthur Davis Community Leadership Award

Nyemaster shareholder Robert D. Andeweg has been selected as the recipient of Lead DSM's 2026 A. Arthur Davis Community Leadership Award, recognizing his longstanding commitment to leadership, public service, and community engagement throughout Greater Des Moines.

 

The award, named in honor of Lead DSM founder A. Arthur Davis, recognizes an alumnus who exemplifies exceptional leadership, service, and meaningful community involvement. Andeweg will be honored during Lead DSM's Annual Alumni Reunion on June 24.

 

A shareholder with Nyemaster and the longtime Mayor of Urbandale, Andeweg has dedicated decades to helping communities grow through collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and consensus-building. His work has helped advance initiatives that strengthen Greater Des Moines while fostering partnerships across municipal and organizational boundaries.

 

Throughout his legal and public service career, Andeweg has earned a reputation for leading with integrity, civility, and a genuine commitment to improving the communities he serves. His influence extends beyond any single role, reflecting a career devoted to creating opportunities and lasting impact across the region.
