CBS Evening News Features Attorney Kathy Law in Story on Iowa’s Wind Energy

A recent CBS Evening News story on the positive impact wind turbines have had on Iowa farmers and its electric grid featured comments from Nyemaster attorney Kathleen K. Law. Iowa has more than 6,000 wind turbines and Kathy has worked with developers and farmers through her real estate practice to help site nearly half of them.

Calling Kathy the “conduit for Iowa wind,” the CBS story included her comments alongside those of a farmer who has experienced great benefit from the revenue stream created from three turbines on her Iowa farm.  Kathy talked about the opportunities wind turbines have created and the fact that her farming background is relatable to farmers considering placing turbines on their farms.
