Nyemaster Goode Admits New Shareholders

Nyemaster Goode, P.C., today announced that three associate attorneys have been admitted to the firm as shareholders. Roy Leaf and Ethan Olson of the Cedar Rapids office and Alicia Nicoletto of the Des Moines office became shareholders effective January 1, 2023.

 

 

Roy Leaf is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department practicing in the area of bankruptcy and creditor rights and represents a broad array of clients in restructuring matters. In his restructuring practice, Roy works through the diverse overlap between federal and state laws that underlie many matters. He also considers the far-reaching transactional, tax, and litigation issues involved.  Prior to joining Nyemaster in 2020 Roy was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Chicago.

 

 

Ethan Olson has a practice focused on labor & employment and insurance defense. In employment cases, Ethan represents employers with a focus on civil rights issues, discrimination, and harassment. He is a former law clerk to a federal judge and is named to The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch 2023 list in the areas Insurance Law, Labor and Employment Law – Employee, and Litigation – Labor and Employment.

 

 

Alicia Nicoletto is a member of the firm’s Business, Finance and Real Estate Department. She has a general corporate practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, business formations, contract review, and other transactional matters. She also focuses heavily on bank and finance work, assisting clients with all types of secured credit facilities. She is a member of the board of Rebuilding Together Iowa and has been named to The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch list since 2021 in the areas of Health Care Law, Real Estate Law, and Trusts and Estates.  She has also been named a Rising Star by Great Plains Super Lawyers since 2021.
