Stanger Contributes Article on Key 8th Circuit Decision to American Bankruptcy Institute Journal

In August the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals made a definitive ruling that allows a bankruptcy estate’s causes of action to be sold by a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. The opinion was the Circuit’s first consideration of the legalities of this strategy and the Opinion sets a significant precedent to potentially hold wrongdoers accountable.

 

A team from Nyemaster Goode and Proskauer Rose piloted this case and attorney Kristina Stanger joined her co-counsel to write an article on the decision for the November issue of the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal.
