Leslie Behaunek: Forty Under 40

Leslie Behaunek, who maintains a Litigation practice in the areas of employment, insurance, and appellate law, was included as one of “Forty under 40” in the annual compilation established in 2000 by The Business Record.  

The 2018 selection acknowledges 40 local business leaders, chosen by past award winners (of which there are now 760), who are under the age of 40 and “have demonstrated impressive career achievements and deep community involvement.”

In her law practice, Leslie addresses diverse business disputes, and dedicates significant personal time in efforts to empower women and girls to reach their potential, to guide nonprofit organizations like the Des Moines Choral Society, to develop political organizations like Emerge Iowa, and to encourage those who will be tomorrow’s leaders.
